Dr. Mohanraj Krishnasamy graduated from University Science Malaysia in 1991. He obtained his Membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the United Kingdom in 1998.

Professional Achievements

Dr Mohanraj Krishnasamy has been appointed as Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist and Infertility and Reproductive Medicine Specialist at Johor Specialist Hospital from the 7th of December,2003.

He completed most of his initial training in Malaysia. He continued his training at Watford General Hospital before and after obtaining his Membership. He successfully obtained a Scholarship to pursue his special interest in Australia. He was appointed as a Fellow in Reproductive Medicine with the Reproductive Service Division of the Royal Women�s Hospital of Melbourne. Following that he served as a Fellow in Reproductive Medicine with the division of O&G at John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle and The University of Newcastle, Australia.

During his working period in Australia, Dr Mohanraj had obtained experience in the management of both male and female infertility. These include most current forms of Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART). He had also gained experience in minimal invasive surgery, especially for the treatment of infertility. At both centres in Australia, Dr Mohanraj had received training in microsurgical infertility surgical techniques, like reversal of the female tubal ligation. He also is well versed with the management of Reproductive Endocrinological problems. These include Paediatrics and adolescent gynaecology together with Menopausal problems.

Upon returning to Malaysia, he worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with the Reproductive Medicine Division of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Division of the Maternity Hospital Kuala Lumpur (MHKL).
