Associate Professor Dr Suhail Suresh Abdullah

Short Introduction

Dr Suhail Suresh has vast experience in Total Joint Replacement. He is a Senior Lecturer and Consultant Arthroplasty Surgeon in one of Malaysia's leading tertiary medical institution. He has been conducting Total Joint Surgery, namely Hip and Knee replacements in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Center (National Univ. of Malaysia) and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Specialist Center. He has carried out more than 1000 joint replacement surgeries.

Educational Background

He had his training in Revision Total Hip and Total Knee Surgery at the Prince Charles Hospital and the Royal Brisbane Hospital, Brisbane, Australia. He had a surgical attachment at the Princes Elizabeth Orthopedic Center, Royal Devon Hospital, Exeter, United Kingdom.

Currently, he carries out Total Joint Replacement, Hips and Knees alike in a large scale. He also offers the services of Computer Assisted Joint Replacement.

Areas of Interests

He is actively involved in training Orthopedic Surgeons & Residents in this field. He has been featured in numerous medical programs on television.

Medical / Heath Tourism

He attended the Asia Pacific Orthopedic Association Hip Training Fellowship, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide, Australia. He also had opportunity to visit the Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Canada as a Visiting Surgeon.

Professional Achievements

He has had the opportunity to train in various parts of the world. He attended the AO Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship at Stadtchiches Klinikum, Karlsruhe, Germany.
