CP Style Police: Better Than Your Morning Coffee

Certain problems will plague the female species for all time – what kind of man to date, whether to go for the salad or the steak, or if $400 for a pair of red satin heels is a bit overzealous. But nothing ever seems to be quite as hefty a task as what to wear in the morning. Ever wish you were Cher in 1994’s Clueless, able to digitally choose your outfit every morning? Look no further than StyleCaster.

After several redesigns, the site has mastered a sleek and chic look that will have you jumping around looking at outfits for (too many) hours of the day. Headed by many former fashion magazine pros, the basic premise of the site is built on the concept of tailoring clothing to fit your personal needs, and then helping you find it at an online store near you. Once creating your profile, you can log in every morning to be given three outfit options based on the weather, which are continually edited to your personal taste. You can also be redirected to links for where to buy the individual pieces of the outfits. Want a different pair of pants? Search by clothing item or designer, and then add it to your digital closet.

The site also branches out into many other divisions, letting you create an “inspiration board” on your profile, tag people who influence you, and “heart” videos and articles you want your friends to read.

Named by AOL’s Money and Finance as one of the Best Startups of 2009, and circulating buzz everywhere from employees of Marc Jacobs to techie websites, lucky BN readers can get a jump start on membership by clicking the link below.
